I finally decided to check this place out today, and I am sure glad I did! Although the service was a little on the inattentive side, the food was great! We had the crab dip (a must try if you love crab dip) for an appetizer. There was no mistaking it was crab dip. There was loads of it shredded up in there and you got a bunch in every bite. It does have that classic old bay flavour that I love with a nice texture. I also got the fettuccine Alfredo. This was one of the better Alfredo dishes I have had around here. It had good flavour, but could have used a little bit more. It came with a good amount of sauce which I love, but the sauce has pretty big chunks of what I assume were garlic throughout it (I am not turned off by this, but others may be.. A garlic press might be a good addition to the kitchen).
Excellent wings. Good selection of beer. I had no idea this place existed until a year ago. Can be pretty busy in the evenings, especially on weekends. Overall, great experience.
My fiance got the smothered chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. When the plate first came out, our waitress for got to bring the potatoes but when we got them we were not dissatisfied. Their garlic mashed potatoes are BOMB. better than Applebees by far. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender.
The food is good but make sure to look at your bill closely. Manager Heather will argue with you that you as the customer is Wrong because they do not need to tell you about a take out gratuity. If you are a drug rep please let your company know that this is happening because she told us that drug reps never complain about this. Apparently this establishment charges you a gratuity for take out that they deem is party of 8 or more. Also they will be Very offended if you don't tip on take out. Also we had to pay cash because it took them 4 hours to fix the credit card machine.
We will for sure be coming back for the wide menu selection and delicious food.
Second time in and I must say it was much better this time around. The first time I was in it was slow and the server was not very attentive. The second time the server I had was busy but always trying to make sure we needed nothing.
Great place, friendly people and you can get the lunch size portions at dinner too.
